Çocuklarda akut skrotumun retrospektif değerlendirilmesi: tek merkezde onbir yıllık deneyim

Objective
 Incidence of underlying causes and outcomes in patients followed up treated the last 11 years by Pediatric Surgery Clinic our hospital with diagnosis acute scrotum childhood were analyzed retrospectively.
 
 Materials Methods
 A total 216 diagnosed between November 2010 October 2021 included this study. The age, presentation complaints, physical examination, laboratory radiological results, additional anomalies, medical surgical treatment results analyzed.
 Results
 aged 3 weeks to 17 years, a mean age 9.9 ± 4.4 years. Pain swelling are most common present on right side 119 (55.1%) left 97 (44.9%). Causes orchitis /epididymoorchitis (O/EO) 98 (45.4%), strangulated inguinal hernia (SIH) 52 (24.1%), testicular torsion (TT) 38 (17.6%), appendage (TTA) (5.1%), rupture 5 (2.3%), idiopathic scrotal edema intravaginal abscess (1.4%), cancer 2 (0.9%), hydrocele (0.9%). Vesicoureteral reflux was detected 7 (7.1%) O/EO. Conclusion
 In series, O/EO found be cause pain. should approached like abdomen because only lower quadrant abdominal pain may torsion.
